Rugged High-Speed Systems
Optimized for SI Performance • Increased Contact Wipe • High Cycles

Samtec’s Edge Rate® contact system is designed for high speed performance to 56 Gbps PAM4, as well as increased durability and wear life. Edge Rate® connector strips are available in 0.50, 0.635 or 0.80 mm pitch with a wide range of stack heights and ruggedizing features. High-speed edge card sockets feature rugged Edge Rate® contacts in 0.60 mm, 0.80 mm or 1.00 mm pitch with a choice of orientation.

Other Rugged SI solutions include micro edge card sockets with rugged weld tabs, board or solder locks. High-retention, high-speed Razor Beam connectors are self-mating in a slim body design with optional EMI shielding and a variety of stack heights for increased flexibility. One-Piece interfaces and floating contacts are also available for rugged, high-shock and vibration applications.
